Château Brande-Bergère is a "High Environmental Value" (H.E.V.) estate
The "High Environmental Value" label is awarded by the certification body designated by the Ministry of Agriculture. It corresponds to the highest level of the environmental certification system for farms. It guarantees that the practices used on the entire farm preserve the natural ecosystem and reduce to a minimum the pressure on the environment (soil, water, biodiversity, etc.).
This mention is based on 4 themes:
- Preservation of biodiversity (insects, trees, hedges, grassy strips, flowers, etc.)
- The phytosanitary strategy
- Fertilisation management
- Irrigation management
Our farming practices are based on the principles of agroecology. The aim is to encourage the use of nature's resources and mechanisms: farm autonomy, improved added value for products, reduced consumption, etc.
